I remember Sylvia as a caring friend who you could always rely on. Good evidence of this was one Hogmanay in the Safeway store i was getting crisps down from above a chiller cabinet on the shop floor. I got a fairly decent shock from an exposed circuit and flung to the floor from the table I was standing on. Sylvia was at the other end of the store but was still the first person who came to my aid. I have always maintained that had she been any quicker there she’d have caught me.
